FAQs

Does the design affect the sound?

Of course not. We take into account that we build musical instruments and that their destiny is to be used with sound quality and comfort, they are not decorative objects.
In the design we adapt all the aesthetic elements so that they do not affect the sound, tone or sustain. It is also important that nothing bothers or hinders the guitarist.
Great guitarists with recognized international fame use our instruments in mega concerts adding a personal aesthetic and look to whoever uses it.
They are also used in recording studios such as WATERSOUND STUDIOS in the U.K. Property of ANNIHILATOR leader Mr. Jeff Waters, who declares in this video that his Martper Guitars guitar is in the TOP 3 of his best guitars, which is amazing since he has a large collection of dozens of premium-end guitars.

Tuners for Custom Electric Guitars: The Importance of Proper Tuning

Electric guitars are one of the most versatile instruments in popular music, and custom electric guitars offer players even more options for creative expression. However, without proper tuning, a custom electric guitar will not sound its best.
That’s where tuners come in.

Tuners are devices that help musicians ensure that each string on their guitar is properly tuned. There are several different types of tuners, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.

Chromatic tuners, for example, can be used to tune to any note, not just the standard guitar tuning.

This makes them a popular choice for players who want to experiment with alternate tunings or who play multiple instruments.

Clip-on tuners, as the name suggests, clip onto the headstock of the guitar, allowing for easy and accurate tuning.

These tuners are ideal for live performances, as they do not require any additional setup.

Pedal tuners, on the other hand, are designed for use on a pedalboard and are often used by guitarists who play in bands.
They offer a high level of accuracy and are easy to use during live performances.

Built-in tuners are another option for custom electric guitars. These tuners are integrated into the guitar itself, making them a convenient choice for players who want a compact, all-in-one solution.
However, built-in tuners can be more expensive than other options.

In addition to choosing the right type of tuner, it’s also important to consider the accuracy of the tuner. Some tuners are more accurate than others, and the accuracy of a tuner can impact the sound of the guitar.
A tuner that is too inaccurate can lead to poor intonation, which is the guitar’s ability to play in tune up and down the neck.

In conclusion, tuners are an essential tool for custom electric guitar players.
They help ensure that each string is properly tuned, which is critical for achieving the best possible sound from the instrument.
Whether you prefer a chromatic, clip-on, pedal, or built-in tuner, the right tuner can help you achieve the perfect sound for your custom electric guitar.

Custom Electric Guitar Necks: The Key to a Unique Sound

The neck of an electric guitar is one of the most important parts of the instrument, affecting the playability and sound of the guitar. Custom electric guitar necks offer players the opportunity to personalize their instrument and create a truly unique sound. Whether you’re a professional musician or just starting out, a custom guitar neck can have a big impact on the way your instrument feels and sounds.

The Design Process

The process of creating a custom guitar neck starts with an idea. Many musicians will have a clear vision of what they want their neck to look and feel like, while others may need help from a professional luthier or builder to bring their ideas to life. The luthier will work with the musician to discuss the desired specifications, such as the wood type, shape, and size of the neck.

Once the specifications have been agreed upon, the luthier will begin the crafting process. This may involve shaping the neck from a piece of wood, sanding it to the desired smoothness, and adding any decorative elements such as inlays or binding. The final step is to attach the neck to the body of the guitar and make any necessary adjustments for the perfect fit.

The Benefits of a Custom Guitar Neck

There are many benefits to owning a custom guitar neck. One of the biggest advantages is the ability to personalize your instrument and create a truly unique sound. With a custom neck, you can experiment with different woods, shapes, and sizes to find the perfect fit for your playing style.

Another benefit of a custom guitar neck is improved playability. A neck that is shaped and sized to fit the player’s hands can provide increased comfort and ease of playing, reducing the likelihood of hand fatigue during long sessions.

Finally, owning a custom guitar neck can be a source of pride for musicians. When you have a one-of-a-kind neck, you know that no one else in the world has the same sound as you. This can be a great source of inspiration for musicians, as well as a talking point when performing on stage.

In Conclusion

Custom electric guitar necks offer musicians the opportunity to personalize their instrument and create a truly unique sound. Whether you’re a professional musician or just starting out, a custom guitar neck can have a big impact on the way your instrument feels and sounds. With the help of a skilled luthier or builder, you can create a neck that is both beautiful and functional, providing improved playability and a unique sound that sets your instrument apart from the rest.
